Do you have experience working as a CMM Quality inspector?

Would you like to work for a leading global organisation?

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Crewe Manufacturing Facility for a CMM Programmer/Quality Inspector to work within Operations.

The successful candidate will be a valued member of the Quality team and will focus on helping to drive the highest quality within our product and processes delivering a world class product to our customers.

Some of the main tasks will include:

* Programming of CMM, and measurement of parts using CMM and hand measurement devices.
* Audit/inspection of goods coming into the company, castings etc and report any issues to Quality, Purchasing and Production
* Audit WIP, reporting any issues directly to Quality/Production
* Carry out final audit inspection of finished pumps and packages.
* Raise NCR’s, as and when, required.
* Process audit and report on any changes that may need to be made to SOP’s.
* Support with and promote 5S within the workshop.

Essential Skills

* Must have experience of CMM programming and operation.
* The ability to competently use all Microsoft applications, specifically Word and Excel.
* Have experience of working in a production environment.
* Ability to use a variety of measuring equipment accurately
* Be able to read and understand production drawings and drawing tolerances
* Have an awareness of the ISO 9001 standard
* Experience of a quality role within a manufacturing or quality background would be beneficial to your application.

* Time served engineer with Quality Inspection experience - desirable
* Self-motivation and team working, with a “can do” attitude.
* Good use of working time and planning including attendance and punctuality
* Attention to detail
* Providing excellent customer service
