Do you have experience in litigation and have a desire to work In-House? If you do then look no further, this is the role for you!

Reporting to one of the Senior Legal Counsel, the role focus is on dealing with any third party litigation related matters and in providing general legal support to the business, including legal advice on ad hoc project work.The successful individual will be a confident and articulate communicator with good organisational skills, capable of managing a varied workload and handling time critical matters in a positive manner.

Core responsibilities:

* Dealing with third party litigation related matters, including:monitoring and evaluating collective or (“class”) actions as they affect our organisation.
* Working with external legal counsel on the relevant disclosure obligations relating to any third party litigation requests or requirements.
* Ensuring preservation orders are maintained appropriately within and ensuring timely responses to client requests for information.
* Assisting with the implementation of ad-hoc projects and participating in project teams as the business needs.
* Carrying out research work, identifying and analysing new legislation and assisting in the implementation of solutions as necessary.

Essential:

* Experience dealing in litigation (preferably civil or commercial litigation)
* Qualified Lawyer NQ - 2 Years PQE is preferred but we are open to candidates who have wider experience if they fulfil the job requirements.

Desirable:

* Experience of competition and/or copyright law
* Experience of regulatory issues
* Experience of financial services, either in industry or private practice
