Software EngineerDo you already have several years of experience in industrial automation and motion control, and would you like to further develop yourself in building and optimizing highspeed packaging machines? Do you enjoy working with a multidisciplinary engineering team on customerspecific solutions, and do you like being involved in commissioning at the customer site, both remotely and onsite? Then we are looking for you.What will you do?As a Software Engineer, you develop, improve, and test the control systems of our packaging machines. You work on complex, highspeed, highprecision motion applications, both for new machines and existing concepts. You actively contribute ideas regarding technical choices and improvements.Together with a multidisciplinary team consisting of engineering and project technicians, you align on machine design and ensure innovative and wellfunctioning solutions.We work with technologies including: Allen Bradley PLCs with motion and Lenze IPC (Codesys) with motion.Your responsibilities:Designing, developing, and optimizing PLC and motion control software for highspeed packaging machinesImplementing and configuring Mpac HMI solutionsTesting software during the workshop testing phasePerforming IO tests, functional tests, and supporting FATSupporting the commissioning and startup of machines at customer sites, both remotely and onsite (national and international, max. 30% travel time)Analyzing technical issues and translating them into practical software solutionsContributing to standardization and improvement of software librariesIdentifying improvement opportunities in performance and reliabilityWhat do we offer you?A challenging midlevel role within a professional engineering team in WijchenCompetitive salary according to the Metalektro collective agreement, based on your experience27 vacation days and 13 ADV daysCollective pension scheme and optional insurance plansCompany laptopSports benefit schemeFun company outings via the staff associationWho are you?Completed HBO degree (or MBO4) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation3-5 years of relevant work experience in machine building or industrial automationExperience with PLCs, IPCs, motion control, and servomotors (preferably Allen Bradley and/or Lenze IPC) is a plusAffinity with commissioning and international startupsGood command of Dutch and EnglishWillingness to travel internationally up to 30% of the timeAnalytical, precise, and communicativeAble to work independently but also proactively collaborate with othersWho is Mpac Langen?Mpac Langen designs and produces automated packaging machines for companies worldwide.
