Job DescriptionThe Cash Operations & Payments team in the Application Management Services (AMS) is responsible to provide application maintenance (bug fixing) and small enhancements services for the functional area and all related topics for our SaaS clients, in close collaboration with the Back-Office department. Your key tasksClosely collaborate with the Team Lead, Business Analysts, and other Software EngineersWrite solution designs for new developments and have them reviewed with our technical leads and architectsParticipate in client workshops and support our business analysts in requirements analysisDesign, develop and maintain thought-out solutions within the team’s responsibilityImprove and optimize existing functionalitiesDevelop and maintain automated tests, quality insuranceTake ownership and responsibility for your area of expertiseTo work with agile mindset, process, and ticketing platforms (Jira)QualificationsStrong proven track record of relevant software development experience of at least 3 YearsGood knowledge and sound understanding of database technologies (SQL, Oracle PL/SQL)Eager to learn and understand the business needs aiming to provide clean designs and high-quality codeStrong conceptual and analytical mind with a structured and autonomous approach to work on complex technical and business problemsIt would be a real bonus if you haveExperience in the financial industry and/or cash operations and payments topicsUniversity degree in Computer Science or related discipline (preferable)Knowledge in domain specific standards for payments, like SIC, euroSIC, SEPA and SWIFT MT or MX (ISO20022)Additional InformationWe realize that managing work life balance is a challenge we all face in our daily lives and in order to support with this we are pleased to offer hybrid and flexible working for most of our Avaloqers to maintain work life balance and still continue our fantastic Avaloq culture in our global offices.
